I’ve been travelling to Turkey since I was a teenager, attracted by its culture, traditions, natural beauty and incredible history. As a foodie, I also go back there to give my taste buds a holiday treat. 

As I explore the country and discover places that are off the beaten track, I realise how diverse each region of the country can be. Each one, having something unique to offer. 

Sharing information with fellow travellers about this fascinating country has been one of the main factors that has motivated me to create this guide for travelling on a budget in Turkey. 

Turkey is a destination that is still affordable for many international travellers, in spite of recent price rises. While many other holiday destinations are becoming ridiculously expensive, Turkey can offer something to people on all budgets.
